Gentle Chair Yoga

Hello students, family and friends!

It is said that, "Variety is the spice of life". Yoga offer students a wide variety of practices such as asana (poses), mudra, chanting, Yoga Nidra, and meditation. The diversity of the practice is also reflected in the unique ways each teacher offers the teachings. It is a joy to learn something new in every class! 

Here’s a recap of how Saturday Gentle Classes are embracing this philosophy:

Week 1 Emergence.  Traditional gentle class with lots of reclining warm ups, a few standing poses and a standing backbend apex pose.

Week 2 Nourishment. Focus on fluidity with many range of motion exercises throughout class, some standing poses and a long reclining cool down. 

Week 3 Be the Light.  A Summer Solstice Celebration. Stronger variations for poses such as standing warm ups, standing poses, basic backbends like Sphinx and Cobra plus deep twists.

The fun continues in week four! Grab a chair and join me this Saturday, 

June 27, for chair yoga, a Saturday Gentle class tradition. Cost is $12. Register by 9 AM on Saturday at www.annmullinsbulka.com. A Zoom invitation will be emailed to all students approximately one hour before class.  Please contact the office at 602-265-8222 with any questions.
